Project TypeMobile Application - UI/UX Design & Development |
My RoleDesign a mobile app based on a desktop web application and fit it onto an iPhone 6 dimensions. I work as part of a remote team consisting of the CEO, CTO, IT Director, Product Specialists and Engineering staff. I am responsible for leading UI/UX design, aiding development, and implementation for all aspects of the RoboHead application. Work unsupervised to create project deliverables. Conducted collaborative design and review sessions to work through and present design solutions. QA, bug report modules as they are developed, liaise with the engineering department to ensure intended design and user experience is implemented. Project SummaryRoboHead users can now review, annotate and approve creative work from any mobile device. “Our users are increasingly ‘on the go’ and need a way to keep their creative work moving,” said Patrick Campbell, President of Aquent Cloud. “And since they’re always connected via email, we’ve made it easy for them. All they have to do is click a link in the notification email to open up the review and it will be optimized for the device they’re using.” Once in the review, the users will have all the functionality they are accustomed to when accessing via the desktop, including annotating, highlighting, stamping, as well as mobile-specific “pinch and spread” gestures to zoom in and out. In addition, the review itself can be managed, so reminders can be sent, notes added, status set and the review archived when complete. Videos can also be viewed and commented upon, as well. “One of the best things about this release is that it’s a seamless experience for our users. We know our users live in their email all day, so we wanted to come up with an experience that works the way they work.” said Dan Perez, Aquent Cloud’s CTO. “There’s no app to download or worry about updating – it’s all done in their mobile browser and presents a user interface that’s based on the device they’re using.” |
